Animal Astrologists

This football world cup has been popular more for off-field issues than the action on field - From vuvuzelas to animals predictions . To be very frank action on-field has been quite poor which has given more boost for these extra-curricular activities. So far there has been three 'popular' animals astrologists.


                                     The most popular "PAUL -  THE OCTOPUS". This weird octopus has been putting up predictions from the time of EURO 2008. It had correctly predicted all of the Germany matches them except for the final against Spain. It has so far correctly predicted all the matches in world cup and has gone with Spain for the finals.

 

 Another animal that has captured the imagination is "MANI - THE PARROT" .  It gained popularity after Singapore leading newspaper featured an article on how the parrot has correctly predicted the semis line-up in the world cup. The parrot owned by a roadside vendor of Indian origin is now getting 10 customers per hr compared to 10 customers per day earlier. The parrot has gone with the Netherlands for the world cup finals.

I found a third animal astrologist too recently - "SIMON THE PSYCHIC KITTEN". Not very sure of the credibility of the source though. The kitten too has gone with Netherlands in the finals.

So it has been 2-1 in favour of Netherlands from the animal astrologists. Lets all wait till Sunday to see whose finally comes up as winners of WORLD CUP.
